"Gion Matsuri" -- it is one of the most famous fastivals in Japan. It is held over the entire month of July in Kyoto. The "Yamaboko Junko", a parade of many beautiful floats, is one of the big events on this festival. The floats are so impressive because of their enormity up to 82 feets tall. Furthermore, they are elaborately decorated, and represent unique themes.
